A Little Before You Come
Coming to the Pumpkin Patch is pretty easy. Put on a good pair of boots, dress for whatever October has decided to do that day, and come on out to the farm.
We've put everything you'll want to know right here. Have a look at the hours, figure out your way over, and don't forget to bring something to carry your pumpkins home in.
Other than that, come ready to wander around and have a good fall day outside.

When to Come
Pumpkin Patch Hours
Come with enough time to have a proper look around. The times below are our last entry times, so arriving a little earlier will give you more time to enjoy the farm.
Monday to Friday
9 AM to 4 PM
Last entry is at 4 PM.
Weekends & Holidays
10 AM to 4:30 PM
Last entry is at 4:30 PM.

We're right along Steveston Highway in Richmond, just off Highway 99. Once you're getting close, keep an eye out for Richmond Country Farms.
There's free parking here at the farm.

Finding the Farm
We're easy enough to find once you know where you're going. Here's the address and a few ways to make your way over.
Coming by Car
Take Highway 99 to the Steveston Highway exit and head east along Steveston Highway. Keep an eye out for Richmond Country Farms once you're off the highway.
Parking at the farm is free.Coming by Transit
You can take the Canada Line into Richmond and connect with a bus toward Steveston Highway. Bus routes and schedules do change from time to time, so it's worth checking TransLink before you leave home.

If you're coming by taxi or rideshare, put 12900 Steveston Highway, Richmond into your map and have your driver bring you to the main farm entrance.

Farm Clothes Encouraged
What to Wear
We're a farm, so you'll be walking on grass, dirt and proper farm ground. If we've had some rain, you can count on finding a little mud too.
Wear Your Boots
Rubber boots or a sturdy pair of shoes are just right. The mud does not care how nice your shoes are.
Put on a Few Layers
October has never been known for making up its mind. A sweater and jacket you can take off as the day warms up will do you well.
Don't Be Afraid of a Little Dirt
Wear something you don't mind getting a bit of farm on. This is especially good advice if you're bringing children.
If It's Been Raining
Bring your rain jacket and definitely bring your boots. A pumpkin field and a rainy Richmond day can make a fine bit of mud together.
Don't Forget This One
Bring Something for Your Pumpkins
We don't hand out bags for pumpkins at the patch, so you'll want to bring something from home.
A good reusable bag or sturdy tote works nicely. If you know you're planning on taking home more than one pumpkin, you'll be glad you brought something to haul them in.
Somehow the biggest pumpkin always gets picked by the smallest person in the family.

Bringing the Little Ones
A Note About Strollers
You're welcome to bring a stroller. Just remember that this is farm ground, so you'll run into grass, gravel, packed dirt and a few bumps along the way.
If you've got a sturdy stroller with bigger wheels, that's the one we'd bring. Little wheels and farm fields aren't always the best of friends.
